The Doctor's Special amplifier is hand-built one at a time, inspired by the "Holy Grail" clean tone of the Steel String Singer,

reimagined in a half-powered, 50W combo amp.  Each amplifier requires nearly 30 hours to hand-build, working on each amp

to ensure the meticulous attention to detail to make these instruments truly breathtaking.  Each cabinet is handmade of solid pine,

and covered with tolex and grille cloth one-at-a-time.  Every solder joint and wire dressing is done completely by hand with ZERO

automation or machine building.  Before leaving our facility, each amp goes through multiple tiers of quality assurance.  Every

component is hand-picked for consistency, low noise, and tightest tolerances, ensuring every amp is exactly the same and built

like a tank, to be passed on to generations of musicians to come!

We genuinely believe that each element used to build our amplifiers plays a significant role in the instrument's overall tone and feel.

Notably, this amplifier is 100% handwired, with all USA made cabling, premium Carling Switches, Switchcraft USA jacks,

hand-selected Canadian made Hammond Transformers, solid pine cabinet with void-free laminated baltic birch speaker baffle and

perfectly paired with a UK made Celestion Heritage G12-65 speaker as the ultimate tonal complement to this boutique instrument.

The Doctor's Special is a tube combo amplifier loaded with four 12AX7A preamp tubes, one 12AT7 preamp tube, and two 6L6GC

power tubes. Pro guitarists really dig this amplifier's clean, high-fidelity tone. Its compressed character and dynamic response are

second to none. Plus, it emits a sound akin to clean feedback, ensuring near-endless sustain without added harmonic saturation.
